No. We do not handle any calls involving wildlife. These should be directed to the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency (TWRA) or a licensed private wildlife removal agency.
If you live inside city limits, animal control calls for service (such as stray pickup, bite cases, or nuisance complaints) are handled by your city’s animal control or police department. However, our shelter does accept animals from both city and county residents, based on space and availability.
We provide animal control services for residents living in unincorporated areas of Sumner County. This includes stray animal pickup, bite investigations, and cruelty/neglect complaints. Our shelter also accepts animals from both county and city residents, depending on space. Please note: owner surrenders are placed on a wait list, and we do not accept feral cats.
We offer same-day adoptions. All adoption paperwork is completed on-site through our adoption contract (no pre-applications required). Adoption fees cover spay/neuter, vaccines, and microchipping.
No. We do not offer veterinary care or euthanasia services for the public. These services should be directed to a licensed local veterinarian’s office.
