Some adoption stories are quick and sweet, and others take a little more time — but every single one is worth celebrating. Today, we’re thrilled to share the story of Jarrett, a very special dog who finally found his forever family! 🐾💙

Jarrett first came into foster care with us on April 30, 2025. From the very beginning, he captured hearts with his gentle spirit, fluffy good looks, and goofy personality. While he waited for the right match, Jarrett spent his days soaking up love and care in his foster home — learning, growing, and showing everyone what a truly wonderful companion he is.

And yesterday, September 25, 2025, the day finally came: Jarrett was officially adopted! After nearly five months in foster care, he now has a family to call his very own.

Stories like Jarrett’s remind us of how important foster families are. By opening their homes, they give animals the chance to thrive outside of the shelter while they wait for adoption. We are so grateful to Jarrett’s foster family for loving him through this journey and helping him get to where he is today.
